DWTS is live: from 1 October 2026, waste receiving sites in England and Wales must record every load digitally and submit it to DEFRA. Scotland and Northern Ireland follow in January 2027. Start free →

Custom data services for your waste records

Listed on GOV.UK as a compatible software provider

LoadLog records your loads and submits them to DEFRA. When you need more than the standard tools, we can bring your existing records across, build reports in your own format, and connect the systems you already run.

CSV import and bulk entry already cover a lot of it, on the standard paid plans. These services are for the rest: the awkward source files, the reports no ready-made library would cover, and the systems that need a direct line in.

What we take on

Bring your existing records across

Send us what you have: a spreadsheet, a CSV export from your weighbridge, or a report out of the system you use today. We turn it into files LoadLog can import, with the columns, EWC codes, carriers and weights lined up along the way. You review a test batch before anything lands on your account.

The import then runs through the normal Import screen on your own account. If you load from the same system regularly, the wizard remembers your column mapping, so repeat imports take minutes.

One-off conversions are open on any paid plan; regular conversions, for example a file that arrives every week, come with Compliance Plus.

Get reports in your own format

The ready-made reports cover the standard returns and summaries; you can see the full library on the Reporting page. When you need a different shape, for a regulator, a parent company or your own records, we build it onto LoadLog's reporting engine. It appears on your Reports page like any other report, with the CSV and PDF downloads, and it is maintained with the rest of the platform.

Custom report builds are open on any paid plan.

Connect the systems you run

If something needs to talk to LoadLog directly, that sits with Enterprise, alongside API access and custom integrations. Tell us what the system is and what it sends or needs, and we will say what is possible.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you have. Describe it through the contact form: what the data comes from and what you need out the other end.
  2. We scope it and quote. You get a fixed written quote: exactly what we would do, what it costs, and how long it takes.
  3. You approve, we build. Nothing starts before you approve. For conversions, you review a test batch before the full import runs.
  4. You go live. Imports run through your normal Import screen; custom reports appear on your Reports page like any other report.

There are no prices on this page: every job is different, so every job is quoted individually. Asking costs nothing.

How it fits your plan

  • One-off file conversions: any paid plan.
  • Regular conversions, for example a file that arrives every week: Compliance Plus.
  • Custom report builds: any paid plan.
  • Live connections to your other systems: Enterprise.

Imported rows count towards your plan's monthly import allowance, the same as any other import: 1,000 rows a month on Compliance Lite, 5,000 on Compliance Plus and 25,000 on Enterprise. Your quote says how many rows the work will use. The plans are set out on the pricing page.

Your data

Files you send us are used only to do the work you asked for. LoadLog is run by RDC IT Solutions Ltd and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. The privacy policy covers how we handle data.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of data can you take?

Anything that can be exported as a file: spreadsheets, CSV exports from a weighbridge or an older system, and standard reports. If your system can produce a file, we can usually map it. If it cannot, tell us anyway and we will look at the options.

Do I need a LoadLog plan?

Yes. Imports and reports run on paid accounts, and a commission is booked against one. One-off conversions and custom report builds are open on any paid plan, regular conversions are part of Compliance Plus, and live connections to your other systems are part of Enterprise, alongside API access.

How does pricing work?

You ask, we scope, you get a fixed written quote. Nothing starts, and nothing is charged, until you approve it. If a job cannot be done well, we say so at that point rather than take it on.

Do imported rows count towards my monthly allowance?

Yes, the same as any other import: 1,000 rows a month on Compliance Lite, 5,000 on Compliance Plus and 25,000 on Enterprise. The quote tells you how many rows the work will use, so there are no surprises.

How long will it take?

It depends on the job, and the quote gives you a date. Commissions are taken one at a time, so a straightforward conversion is usually quick, while a bespoke report takes longer.

How is my data handled?

Only to do the work you have asked for, and in line with the privacy policy. LoadLog is run by RDC IT Solutions Ltd, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Quoted before any work starts. Nothing is charged until you approve the quote.
