No hidden costs
Everything you pay to LoadLog is on this page. Here is what we never charge for.
- ✓ No setup fee. Nothing is charged before you start, and your first invoice is simply the plan price.
- ✓ No per-user charges. Your team allowance is included in the plan price, and you are never billed per person.
- ✓ No long contract. Monthly plans run month to month with no minimum term, and you can cancel any time from your account settings. Annual billing is pre-paid for the full year at a 10% discount, and the plan runs to the end of that year.
- ✓ No card to start. The Free plan needs no payment details, so you can run the whole workflow, including a test submission to DEFRA's sandbox, before you spend anything.
The only other cost: DEFRA charges its own annual service fee of £26 per legal entity for access to the platform. That is separate from your LoadLog subscription and goes directly to DEFRA, not to us.

Paid carrier plans
Built around submitting carrier waste transfer notes. Paid carrier plans arrive in 2027, ahead of the planned October 2027 duty for carriers, brokers and dealers.
Prices and allowances will be announced nearer the time, with a discount for accounts already using the hub.
The hub is free on every plan, including for waste sites that also carry waste. Add the carrier side in Settings, then Organisation, and your plan and records do not change.

Choosing the right plan
If you're a sole trader or just want to see how LoadLog works, the Free plan covers up to 5 WTNs a month with no commitment. Most independent skip hire companies and single-site transfer stations outgrow that quickly and move to Compliance Lite, which removes the WTN limit and adds the ready-made reports, sample templates and CSV import. If you run more than one site, or need several operators logging loads at once, Compliance Plus adds multi-site support (up to 5 sites) and a larger team allowance. Enterprise is built for operators who want API access, custom integrations and a dedicated support portal, alongside everything in the plans below it. Every plan can email your team a weekly activity digest, and paid plans can bring existing records in by CSV import, from a spreadsheet or a weighbridge export, type the day's loads into the bulk entry grid, and choose a daily, weekly or monthly digest schedule.
Every plan includes a team allowance for the people who record loads. Free covers one admin, Compliance Lite adds two operators, Compliance Plus adds three admins and ten operators, and Enterprise removes the user limit entirely. If several people work the gate or the weighbridge, that allowance is what lets them record loads at the same time.
