Digital waste tracking for construction and demolition waste
Construction work produces thousands of small loads: skips from site clearance, grab lorries, concrete, brick and timber arisings. From October 2026, permitted sites receiving that waste have to record every load digitally and submit it to DEFRA within two working days.
LoadLog handles the volume with templates, so a regular skip takes seconds to log from a phone or tablet at the gate.
Before a load is accepted, the carrier registration is checked against the Environment Agency's public register.
Contractors often keep their own spreadsheets of movements. Those rows can be imported by CSV instead of typed: the columns are matched, the preview shows what will be created, and the records arrive as drafts ready to submit in a batch.
The sample library includes construction and demolition templates for concrete, bricks, mixed concrete, brick and ceramic, and wood.
Compliance Lite is free until the end of 2026 for anyone who signs up before October, so a receiving site can run the first year of the mandate without paying a subscription.
