Waste transfer note (WTN)

The document that records a transfer of non-hazardous waste from one party to another. It must describe the waste, include its EWC (List of Wastes) code and quantity, state whether the waste is loose or in a container, the time and place of transfer, the transferor's SIC code, the name and address of both parties, and be signed by them. Waste transfer notes are kept for two years in England, Wales and Scotland.
